In a collaboration with its local council, Willoughby City Council and Destination NSW, Westfield Chatswood struck an exciting deal to become location partner for 2015 Vivid Sydney, the winter light festival that is now an established fixture on Sydney’s event calendar.
Venturing beyond Sydney’s CBD for the first time, Vivid in Chatswood consisted of an ocean-themed installation in and around the commercial precinct where Westfield Chatswood is situated.
Over 12 nights the centre’s main dining and outdoor precincts were activated with illuminations, entertainment and other promotional activities, bringing the mall to life in late night trading hours and providers shoppers and the local community with a truly extraordinary place.
